August 22nd, 1577

A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coguitlan
City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on August
22nd, 1977, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.. Laking,
and E.W. Mabbett in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock,
City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng.. Recreation
Director Janna Taylor, City Treasurer J.G.$. Maitland, Fire Chief W.S.
Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M.
Aalten.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on
August 8th, 1977, be taken as read and adopted. Carried.
BY-LAWS:

From the City Clerk, August ‘76th, 1977, advising that Local Improvement
Fund Appropriation By-laws Nos. 1552, 1553, and 1554, which authorize

the taking of monies from the Local improvement Fund to meet the owners'

portion of the cost of the three works of Local Improvement constructed

in 1976 on Inverness Street, Rindall Avenue, and Fraser Avenue, received
initial consideration at the August 8th, 1977 Council meeting and are
now available for final reading.

The City Clerk advised that By-law No. 1555, proposed to amend the
“City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" by adding special
regulations concerning flood proofing in the Agricultural Land Reserve

areas of the City, was available for initial consideration prior to its
