The success of the Games fund First Kermodei Classic The annual ’Spring Fun Run’ in Terrace is no more. But, the Skeena Valley Runners’ Club has joined in sponsorship with the Inn of the West to change this annual event into the Kermodei Classic (one, five and 10-K) spring run. The fun aspect is still there. In fact, part of the tace will be held in the moming of May 18 in the 4600 block of Lakelse Avenue. According to the listing sub- mitted by the Runners’ Ed An- _sems, it’s a walk-or-run situation with a choice of three distances — one kilometre, five kilometres, or 10 kilometres. : Ed tells us the one-K starts at 10 am. at the Lower Little Park bandshell. The five and 10-K events are at 12 noon in the 4600 block on Lakelse Ave. The entry fee of $10 includes a T-shirt. Club members pay $5 and B.C. Athletics members pay $8. On May 4 members of the Ter- race Host Committee were present in Prince George at the annual general meeting of the Northern ‘B.C. Winter Games Society to present the final report of the Terrace Games.
