right-of-way fence, but suggesting that as such a fence may be uisatis=

- to. consider. the erection of a chain link fence at an estimated cost. of.

$4,400. 00, with the railway paying .a portion equivalent to .the estimated cost

of $1,000.00 for erecting a standard page wire fence.

| Prior to the question being called.on the foregoing . resolution,
Alderman Meyer stated he was not in favour of the City expending. any. money
on.a fence because it. is ‘the ‘responsibility of the Railway Company , and
Alderman Laking agreed to. withdraw his motion.
