Meter Rents:

Where meters are the property of the City monthly rentals for meters at the
amount. shown hereunder shal! be chargeable, and accounts for same shall be
rendered on a two (2) months basis and shal! be payable at the same time in which
the said rates for water beccme due and payable, and shall be eligible for a 10%
discount on any amounts paid prior to the expiration of two months after each due
date in a like manner as the metered water rates:

Fire Lines:

For each connection made to the water utility system to provide a standby for
fire protection only and not used except in the case of fire:

(a) For a Ten Inch (10") connection soscesececes $144.56 per annum
(b) For an Eight Inch (8") connection .sscecceese $1220.32 per annum
(c) For a Six Inch (6) connection sceccccececes $ 94.52 per annum
(d) For a Four Inch (4) connection .csscecceces § 72.28 per annum
(e) For a Two Inch (2%) connection .secssscececos $ 58.94 per annum,

A discount. of 10% shall be allowed on the ‘total current year's charge for a fire
line connection to the water utility system if that total amount is paid before
the close of business on the last Friday of March in each year.

SENIOR CITIZEN WAIVER

Where a senior citizen waiver is specified in this schedule it shall be available:
to'a person who is: a :

Sixty-five years of age or over at any time during the calendar year in which the
charge is assessed.

The owner_of the property for which the charge is assessed.

Who resides on the property and considers it to be his principle residence.

Who has not.apptied for a senior citizen waiver of water rates on any other —

property in the City of Port Coquitiam during the calendar year in which the
charge is assessed.
