After considerable discussion it was agreed by the Committee that non- combustible construction be required in apartments. 2. The elevator requirement should be for apartments over two stories and apartments of 15 suites or over. Elevator must also be able to accomodate stretcher for emergency cases. 3. That the Sign By-Law be amended to include RS-1 in Schedule No.i1, 1(d). This is to permit signs for existing businesses prior to the Zoning By-Law in that Zone that remain in a non-conforming situation. y 4. The Committee does not recommend sign changes for the 2540 Shaughnessy Mal1 as cutlined in the attached plan. The Mal? came under a development permit, therefore sign areas also come under the same permit. The proposed sign is contrary to the permit therefore requires Council approval or disapproval.
