Freeman, City Clerk “We would advise that in the course of discussion that ensued in the Council Committee meeting of Oc October 23rd, 1972 on Alderman M.A. Thompson! s “Report on Parks and Recreation for Coquitlam" the following three recommendations contained therein were ordered to be referred to the Council for formal adoption: 1. "That Administration and Engineering ‘meet with School District No. 43 School Board to explore and bring in recommendations regarding the “planning and Esnancial participation “dn school gi rounds and further explore ,the possibilities of co-ordinated maintenance of. City and school ground. facilities somewhat similar to that presently in effect in the ESI RL Kon ree m, Township of Richmond. - The thoughts expressed in joint usage to be fully explored. The goal to be more economical and better ‘servicing of total community services." 2 "That the (Greenmount Park area be investigaged by the City's Planning and Zoning ‘Committee to ascertain future cemetery requirements and further that the Finance Conmittee bring forth... sports regarding methods of land acquisition as outlined. . 3.
