Dekker for a license te give personal care to ex-Riverview Mental Hospital patients of all ages at 390 Prairie Avenue, and following a review of the same the City's Health Committee submitted a report dated December 10th, 1971 to a regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of thn City of Port Coquitlam held on December 13th, 1971. The Committee, in its report, advised that the building complies with all fire, health, elect- vical, and building regulations for the use intended for up to eight persons, and in recommending accepsence of the proposal, pointed out the need for such facilities in the City; also, that the location of the Home is appropriate for the type of.care being offered. ” After giving due consideration to the application and to the report of the Health Committee, the Municipal Council passed a resolution to grant further consideration to tne proposal of Mr. and Mrs. B. Dekker to establish a Personal Care Home at 390 Prairie Avenue, and in line with Council's policy, a Public Hearing will be held thereon on _Nonda January 10th, 1972 in the Council Chanter, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, at 7:30 pem. at which time all affected residents in the area will be given an opportunity + to speak to the subject. In the event that it will not be convenient for you to attend the Public Hearing mentioned above, individual written representations will be accepted ou the proposal, however, we might point ous that the Council will not give consideration to any group petitions either for or against the same.
