BYLAW NO. 2493

A Bylaw to amend the “Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240"

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitle in
open meeting assembled, enacts ag foliowe:

Section 905(1)(k) and Section 905(1)(1) of the "Port Coquitlam Zoning
Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" are repealed.

Section 906(1) of ‘the Bylaw is amended by renumbering the present clause
(c) as clause (d) and inserting the following as a new clause (c):

"(c) Retail sales of groceries, and confections, occupying a maximum

floor area of 60 m* (645 sq.ft.) accessory to a service station
use.”

3. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “Port Coquitlam Zoning
Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240, Amendment Bylaw, 1990, No. 2493".

Read a first time by the Municipal Council this 26th day of March, 1990.

Read a second time by the Municipal Council this 26th day of March, 1990.

Public Hearing held this 30th day of April, 1990.

Read a third time by the Municipal Council this 30th day of April, 1990.

General Purpose of the Bylaw:

1. To eliminate the Uses of "Service Station" and "Car washing
Establishment” from the CS-1 Zone; and

2. To permit grocery and confectionery sales as a Use accessory to a
Service Station Use in the CS=2 Zone.

Location of Property Affected:

All land in the City zoned cS-1l (Highway Commercial) and CS-2 (Service
Station) is affected by the proposed amendments.
