Application for De-watering facility
Referral from Fraser River Harbour Commission

Tt is recommended that the Fraser River Harbour Commission be informed that
the Port Coquitlam City Council Supports the application for a water lease
submitted by T-Line Canada Limited, to permit a de-watering facility for the
Shimizu Sawmill, subject to the facility receiving full approval from the
appropriate enviromental agencies.

DISCUSSION:

The proposed water lease and de-watering facility will complement the Shimizu
Sawmill, facility that has been Supported by the Municipal Council.

Subject to the applicants Satisfying any concerns that may be expressed by the
appropriate environmental agencies, it is recommended that Council advise the
Fraser River Harbour Commission that this application is supported by Council.
