1 a4 ‘ i t 4 Ree September 26th, 1988/225 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, September 26, 1988, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C. Farnworth, J.J. Keryluk, GR. Laking, WeW. Stewart and R.H. Talbot in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Treasurer J.G. Maitland, and Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Aiderman Stewart: That the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held on September 12, 1988, be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATION: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay iatroduced Ms. Linda Robins, 1638 Connaught Avenue who addressed Council regarding Mary Hill Children's Centre and the renovations scheduled for Kilmer House. Ms. Robbins referred to the 74 children at the centre and that the use of the Chaisson Dance studio was not suitable even on a temporary basis, and asked Council for assistance with this temporary move. Mayor Traboulay referred to the existance of a Council Committee studying this matter and suggested that those interested keep in touch with Alderman Laking, Gates and Mr. B.R. Kirk, members of the Committee. BYLAWS; Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That Bylaw No. 2391 be read a third time. Carried. Moved by Alderman Talbot: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation Bylaw, 1970, No.1020, Amendment Bylaw, 1988, No. 2392" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. ‘Carried. Alderman Farnworth iutroduced a Bylaw to amend the "Development Procedures Bylaw, 1987, No. 2243". Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That Bylaw No. 2393 be read a first time. Carried.
