At this traffic meeting we had representation from the RCMP, usually Cong} VilYSha I would like to take this opportunitypf thanking Vie for his contributionsfto our deliberationspn the many items which we considered ranging from Stop signs at numerous intersections to alleft hand turn signal on the Lougheed Hwy at Oxford and Coast Meridian. I would also like to extend my thanks to Doug Vater, my co-chairman on Public Works, to Fred Peters our City Engineer and his staff for the > consideration they have shown me in 1983. I have been told to keep my remarks short and therefore I will close by saying thank you to Bryan Kirk and all his staff for a job well done in 1983. 1984 is shaping up to be another busy year and I look forward to it with optimism and with a feeling. of challenge to find ways of providing the best value for your tax dollar.
