THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM The Lieutenant-Governor in Couneti Province of British Columbia The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY_ SHOQWETH: 1. That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by By-law No. 1548, cited as the "Plan 2207 Road Closure By~law, 1977, No. 1548" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portien of Road dedicated by Plan 2207 therein described; 2. That the said By-Law No. 1548 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Eleventh day of July, 1977 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; 3. That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous iands have consented to che closure of the said portion of Road dedicated by. Plan 2207 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; 4. That the portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2207 described in the said By-law No. 1548 has never been opened to traffic and it is desirable to close the said portion of road to provide a residential building site that. may be sold by the City for Market Value in accord with the statutory provisions provided in that behalf; 5. , That by Resolution dated the Eleventh day of July, 1977, the Municinal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Lieutenant-Governor in Council praying for the abandonment of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2207 so stopped up ard closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2207 described in By-law No. 15438 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
