RECOMMENDATION :

1. That this application be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS~1 (Large
Lot Residential) to RM—4 (Apartment) under Section 963 of the Municipal
Act subject to:

a) Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of
Planning.

b) Satisfaction of Engineering requirements.

c) Submission of landscaping Plans to the satisfaction of the Parks and
Recreation Department.

d) Satisfaction of Building Department concerns.

e) Consolidation of properties into one lot.

£) Issuance of a Development Permit.

That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit No.

110/93; and .

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when

completed subject to the conditions noted above.
BACKGROUND:

This application is for the development of a four storey apartment
building with a total of 23 units. The site is currently zoned RS-1 (Large
Lot Residential) and is designated f " rtment’' use in the Official
