This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Soil Deposit Regulation Bylaw, 1993, No. 2826". DEFINITIONS In this bylaw: "City Engimeer"” means the City Engineer and the Deputy City Engineer appointed by Council. “Deposit” includes the placement of soil from one parcel on another parcel and the relocation of soil from one part of a parcel onto another part of the same parcel. "Recyclable Sand" means sand which is contaminated by nickel, molybdenum, chromium or copper in an amount greater than that set out in Schedule "A" and which is stored for use as a component in an industrial or manufacturing process. “Soil” includes earth, sand, gravel, rock, and other substances of which land is composed. APPLICATION This bylaw applies to all land within the City of Port Coquitlam except land designated as agricultural land reserve pursuant to the Agricultural Land Commission Act. PROHIBITIONS No person shall cause or permit the deposit of soil or other materials on any land except in accordance with this bylaw and except in strict compliance with the terms and conditions of any permit issued pursuant to this bylaw.
