Eng., FILE: PWC City Engineer PROPOSED "NO PARKING ANYTIME" RESTRICTIONS - NORTH SIDE OF WILSON AVENUE - SHAUGHNESSY TO DONALD STREET (Public Works Committee mecting of July 6, 1993) RECOMMENDATION: That the City Clerk be instructed to amend the Traffic Regulation Bylaw No. 1117 to designate the north side of Wilson Avenue from Shaughnessy to Donald as a "No Parking Anytime" area. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: B.C. Transit has relocated the bus stop for north bound buses on the far side of Shaughnessy Street on Wilson Avenue to a new bus stop location on the north side of Wilson Avenue between Donald and Shaughnessy Street as shown on the attached plan. Under the present City of Port Coquitlam Traffic Regulation Bylaw No. 1117, the north side of Wilson Avenue between Shaughnessy and Donald is designated as a maximum two hour parking ares. It is proposed to amend the Bylaw No. 1117 to delete the two ho: — parking limit on the orth side of Wilson between Shaughnessy and Donald, and designate inis area as a "No Parking Anytime” area. iL.
