It is recommended:

That City Council advise the general manager of liquor licensing, it does
not oppose this application and that the referendum procedure should be
completed to ensure that a majority of residents support this application.

That the applicant be advised that this application will require an
amendment to the land use contract governing the property; and

That Council adopt a procedure for determining public opinion on
neighbourhood pubs or licensee retail store proposal. The current
procedure of retaining a reputable marketing firm to poll neighbourhood
support is recommended.

That before future applications are considered Council discuss the best
way to proceed.

purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that:

1. Lot 20, Block 20, Section 7, Township 40, Plan 2797, New Westminster
District, Port Coquitlam, B.C.,

be sold by tender if a bid acceptable to Council is received;

The City Clerk is hereby instructed and authorized to publish and post the
"Real Property for Sale By Tender" notice appearing in the Agenda
documents of this Council Meeting;
