CORRESPONDENCE:

From Mr, A.B. Irvine, representing a number of Bingo groups in
Port Coquitlam wishing to form a Port Coquitlam Community Bingo
Association and as required by Provincial lottery regulations, they
Tequire a resolution of Council approving their application.

Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the request of the Port Coquitlam Community Bingo
Association contained in the November list, 1988 letter from Mr. A.B.
irvine for Council endorsement of their application for a Provincial
Bingo Gaming Licence, be approved.

From Mayor Marilyn Baker, The Corporation of the District of
North Vancouver, October 28th, 1988 regarding 1989/90 Residential
Property Assessments.

That City Council approach the Provincial Government to
investigate the possible imposition of a "cap' for 1689 and 1990
residential property assessments Similar to that for major industrial
properties.

From the City Engineer, November 4th, 1988 regarding Improvements
in vicinity of 2475 Gately Avenue.

That a catch basin be installed north of 2475 Gately Avenue and
that the estimated cost of $1,500.00 for this work be funded from the
1988 Unallocated Public Works Capital Budget.
