Re: Committee Formed on Pornography.

The recommendation from the committee is that Council support
the brief presented by the North Vancouver Council from the
North Shore Women's Centre. Also, the brief presented by the
Port Coquitlam Area Women's Centre with their three specific
areas of concern and that a letter be sent to the
Solicitor General with a copy to the Attorney-General as
requested in the brief and that the committee be disbanded as
the Courts have ruled that neither the provincial or municipal
governments have any power in this matter.
