From the City Engineer, September 22nd, 1982 regarding
construction of the intersection of Shaughnessy/Wilson/Marpole.

Moved by Alderman Laking:

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the budget for the intersection improvements at the
Shaughnessy/Wilson/Marpole intersection be increased from $53,000 to
$70,000 to allow for reconstruction of some paved areas and that the
additional funds be taken from the Future Capital Reserve.

From the Fire Chief, September 22nd, 1982 regarding fall clean-up

burning.

Seconded by Alderman Muldoon:

That the period from October 2nd, 1982 to October 31st, 1982 be
designated fall clean-up period and that burning of garden and
household refuse be permitted.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Wright suggested that the fall burning period be amended to
read from October 2nd, 1982 to November 14th, 1982.
