Re: New Headquarters Building.

At its November Ist meeting the Board of Manage~
ment voted to accept, subject to approval of the pro-
visional budget for 1979, a proposal from the District
of Matsqui for financing construction of a new regional
library headquarters building.

; As you may recall, the Board has asked each of the
sixteen member municipalities to hold in reserve funds
for construction of the proposed building. Letters were
sent out November 6, 1975, October 1, 1976 and April 5,
1978. The Board now wishes to complete its financial
arrangements and would ask whether Council is willing
to pay over its share of construction costs to the Board
on March ist, 1979.

Our records show that the share apportioned by
assessment to your municipality is $ 7,790.

Would you please reply not later than November 25th.
