Defeated. Aldermen Mabbett and Traboulay voted in favour of the resolution. Discussion then ensued. Alderman Keryluk spoke in favour of the extruded curb and gutter as the roll-over curb does not offer a safety barrier from the vehicles travelling along the roads. Alderman Ranger spoke of his concern for public safety, as cars can climb the roll-over curbs more easily, and stated he was in favour of the extruded curb. Alderman Wright asked for clarification on the types of curbs mentioned and the City Engineer illustrated the three types of curb on the blackboard. Alderman Mabbett then stated the reasons for the roll-over type of curb, - curb letdowns are not required, and it is easier for Senior Citizens
