BOX WASH DOWN GASOLINE SPILL RECREATIONAL TRAILER EXPLOSION REPORTS OF INDUSTRIAL FIRES DAMAGES — $275 ae ee DAMAGES — $1,600 & INHALATOR CALLS . 40 PATIENTS TRANSPORTED 34 FIREMEN ATTENDED 211 MAN HOURS . 211 VOLUNTEERS REMUNERATION $326.00 VOLUNTEERS PAGED 2 TIMES 6 FIREMEN OFF SICK TOTAL 25 DAYS Total damages $1,875: $275 to a car caused when the fuel line ruptured, spilling gasoline over the hot motor which ignited. $1,600 damages to a 16 ft. travel trailer when a leaking propane valve on the furnace filled the trailer to a point where it was ignited by the pilot light. The trailer exploded, bulging out the sides and was classified as a total loss. Two calls came in as fires at the Macro Plant but in each case it was 2 malfunction of one of the furnaces. 40 inhalator calls: 26 home emergencies, consisting of falls causing injuries, heart attacks, breathing problems, diabetic attack, child drank furniture polish, patient with hepatitis, child choking on foreign object, girl fell through a window and a pregnant woman having difficulties. Attended a boy who was hit by a car. ‘Two industrial accidents in each case workmen sustained broken legs from falls. 4 people injured on playgrounds or at Rec Centre participating in sports. 3 overdoses and one attempted suicide.
