This coming October 16, 1972, The Playhouse Theatre Company,
British Columbia's only professional theatre. will usher in

its Tenth Anniversary season. Over the past nine seasons we
have provided the best possible professional theatre to an
audience in excess of half a million people, performing sixty~
six major productions in the Queen Blizabeth Playhouse. During
the past nine seasons we have produced a total of sixteen works
by Canadian Playwrights - a record in which we take great pride,

In addition, Playhouse Holiday, ovr educational wing (formerly
Holiday Theatre), has increased its audience from 18,000 in
1953 to 150,000 children last season. The touring itinerary
now includes 84 communities throughout the province.
