A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning by-laws sEfo! i

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open necting assembled, enactr as follows:

1. Part 1 of the “City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No.

918" {8 amended by inserting the following definition of "Golf Course Use"
immediately after the definition of “front lot line” contained therein:

. "GOLF COURSE USE means an srea designed and used as a golf course
either with or without an associated driving range and may include the minor
retail sales, services, restaurant, dining, and assembly areas customarily
associated with such facilities."

2. Sub-section (1) of Section 202 of the By-law is amended by adding

the following zone to the list of zones therein contained:
. “p-3 Commercial Recreation" ;

3. . Section 801] of the By~law fs amended by adding to the table therein

contained the following Permitted Use "Golf Course" and by showing the Zone In

Which Use Is Permitted as "P-3",

4. The By-law is further amended by adding the following thereto as

Section 8064: .

"804. The development and operation of a golf course use either

with or without an associated driving range shall comply with the following

regulations:

(1) golf course fairways and driving ranges shall be situated and

designed so that golf balls do not create a nuisance or a danger to abutting

property,
(2) lights shall not be mounted so as to direct a glare onto any
housing or public roadway.

(3) fencing to control stray golf balls shall be constructed

‘where necessary and shall not be located closer than forty feet to any highway
or right-of-way over which the public may pass. Fencing shall be kept in good

repair and shall be bordered with appropriate screening and landscaping.

{4) accessory buildings and uses shall be cunfined to activities

customarily associated with the principle use.

(5) Lot Size ~ a minimum lot area of 20 acres is required.

(6) Front Yard = a frone yard of not less then forty feet in depth

shall be provided, ..
