Dear Sir: * a ack eh 4 To whomever was in charge of the ONE public washroom at the - carnival, - YOUR COLLEGE IN. I just don’t think one toilet is adequate for the hundreds of people YOUR COMMUNITY ” that attended the carnival. While carnivals are for all ages, it’s the children who most get the fun and excitement. Most children while attending an exciting event. will-almost-al- ways wait until the last moment to let the parent know they need the washroom. From the children’s rides, it was practically a football field to get there. Then to find out, for ‘yourself, that there should be an ‘*out of order’ sign on the door. This was just disgusting! I am therefore taking this opportunity to suggest that any public B.C. Gillan 635-3044 Darlene Gagnon, Terrace, B.C. we will arrange a Hooray for Frank welcome to your To the people of Terrace: new community Frank Bowshier and his staff at the animal shelter are the kindest and most sensitive people we have ever experienced. Recently our eight year old son had to make a decision to give up our family dog for adoption, that was ona Friday. By late Sunday night we were still overwhelmed with grief, We calied Frank (at home in his Manne] Dalmation printed pajamas) and through tearful begging he met us at the animal shelter to ‘‘spring”’ Tiz. Until I had my own dog I could not understand the sadness of a lost pet. Now. know,..So now we have a dog licence, have enralled her in dog obedience school, and purchased 17 new dog leashes. The fence contractor is rubbing his hands together. We are glad to have her back, Frank Bowsher is an unsung hero in our community. Let’s hope his employer realizes and appreciates what an asset he is to Terrace and how grateful this family is to his services. We must be thankful to have such a caring team at the Terrace animal shelter, The Park Family & The Benner Street Dog, Terrace, B.C.
