“Just look at Mr. Big Shot Pater. Pulling in
another personal request with the supervisor. That
guy must think he owns the joint. He’s down here
all the time with some scrap molarial from the
campany, getting us poor overworked fellows to
turn it into some kind of doodad for his car.”

Randy scowled. “Yeah, that fancy 1949
Camaro. His litle baby. That Peter is so annoying.
I don’t see why wa should give freebies to guys
like him, He's gels a fat $95,000 a year! And
he's been getting these freebies for his fancy cars
for the 15 years he's worked here.”

“Aw come off it, guys,“ Frank spoke up, “it’s
company policy, Anyone in the company can
come and ask us to do some share machine cut-
ting. As long os we've gat time and it’s only scrap
material they’re using.” ’

Ban, the youngest machine operator spoke
up. "You're wrong! | looked it up in the company
manuel, last night. | was sick of making toys for
Peter's cars. Truth is, il’s against company
policy.”

He tossed the manual on the table.

"See, read for yourself.” The machine opera-
tors looked ever the manual.

“You sea, Pater is breaking company rules.

stole from us, Your Honour. We had every right

that no one can do personal projects with com:
pany malarial on company time. The company
lolerated the odd projects if workers brought
their own materials and worked during breaks,
Don't make us pay that thief.”
