Terrace RCMP reported that the operator of the motor vehicle ap- peared to have lost control and hit a tree. No injuried were reported and the estimated damage to the automobile was $15,000. | Community Services aid individuals TERRACE —Presenta- tion of two Diabetic Day Clinics was held at Mills Memorial Hospital recent- ly. These clinics were designed to help people, who have diabetes, cope with the everyday changes necessary to keep the disease under control. The clinics . stressed caution and sensible diets, which exclude sugar. The speakers, Joan Marr (Dietitian at the hospital) and Jackie Munro (Mills Memorial nurse) aided patients with soothing advice which boosted the morale of the group. Residents from as far away as Houston and Stewart attended the two workshops, and. several guests attended the. ses- sions to offer medical ad- vice to the patients.
