November 22, 1993/358 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, November 22nd, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Ccuncillors, M.D. Gates, M.j. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J.G.S. Maitland, Project Engineer F. Cheung, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip, Director of Parks and Recreation, K.J. Taylor, Fire Chief J.L. Baillie, and Deputy Chief G. Routley. SPECIAL PRESENTATION: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Ms. Leah Stewart, Kilmer Elementary School who won the Logo Contest that was sponsored by the City of Port Coquitlam’s annual Environmental Newsletter. Councillor Keryluk presented a composter to Ms. Stewart, and gave a brief dissertation regarding the logo contest, and the merits of composting. CONF-RMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Councillor Talbot Seconded by Councillor Keryluk: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council Meeting of November 15th, 1993 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. BYLAWS: Seconded by Councillor Gozdon: That the "Port Con iitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240, Amendment Bylaw, 1993, No. 2793" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried. Councillor Keryiuk voted against the resolution. That third reading of Bylaw No. 2849 be deferred for one week. Carried.
