A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, June 13, 1989, at
7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates,
J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart, G.R. Laking and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy

Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, Parks and Recreation
Director K.J. Taylor and Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Ms. Joanne Birnie a recently
retired librarian of the Terry Fox Library and presented her with a plaque in
recognition of her years of service to the community.

Carried.
Alderman Laking introduced a Bylaw to stop up and close to traffic a
portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 2797, Section 7, Township 40, New
Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam.
