Harbour Street - Public Works Committee November 24th, 1987.

That Harbour Street be closed at the property line between 1980
Harbour an??1190 Pitt River Road and that the closure be included in the

Traffic Bylaw.

From the City Engineer, November 25th, 1987 regarding Proposed

Category System for Estimates ~ Public Works Committee November 24th,
1987.

That Council adopt the following category system for an indication of the
reliability of future estimates:

CATEGORY A - This will be a detailed estimate based on a fully designed project.
The reliability which Council can expect trom this estimate is
about plus or minus 10% for small projects, say around $10,000, to

plus or minus 5% on larger projects, say over $200,000.

CATEGORY B - This category would represent preliminary estimates based on
preliminary designs, typicaliy the kind that would be prepared
before budget approval. Relflability of these estimates would be
plus or minus 25% for small projects and plus or minus 15% for
large projects.
