Rem. Blk 13, Sec. 6, Twp. ‘40, Plan 5109 - 1339 Prairie Ave.

Address: 1289 and 1339 Prairie Avenue - Strip Map attached.
Areat approximately 3 acres.
Request: To rezone back portion from RS-2 to RS-1. : :

_omments: On November 4th, 1971 the Committee considered the application for rezoning in.
relation to the Ecological Area. The proposed rezoning request occurs immediately

adjacent to the least area.

A letter has been received from the applicant requesting that the application
be resubmitted as further Ecological Studies have been made.. . .

Mr. Howard Paish advised that the ecological boundary could be shifted to
accommodate the legal boundary. This could be done without effecting the Heronry.

The Committee was advised that there are adequate services available to the area.
A school on Fraser Avenue should be completed within the next year, approximately the time
the subdivision would be completed.

At this time the Committee felt the application should be approved subject to
Engineering studies and Preplanning schemes being carried out before the application goes
to public hearing.

Recommendation: The Committee recommends to Council approval, subject to Engineering
studies and Preplanning schemes being carried out before the application

goes to Public Hearing.
