Dear Sirs:
I recently suffered an accident when alighting from the rear door
of a bus at the bus zone on the west side of Shaughnessy Street, just south of.
“MA,
Lougheed Highway. The accident occurred at 5:25 aem., On Ee4.3 ; and it’ was

too dark at that time for me to identify what had caused me to fall. ©

| When I returned to Port Coquitlam on the bus in the afternoon
_of the same day, I looked at the bus zone particularly to see if I could
identify what had caused my accident. -I noted that the poulevard. Was very ‘uneven

at the area where bus passengers have to alight from the rear of the bus, It

looked as though the boulevard had been chewed up by equipment used to clear

‘snow from the sidewalk.

maintenance of bus zones in the city, TI urge you to do some immediate repair
work on that particular bus zone, such as extending the blacktop | area to where
