SUBJECT: RIGHT OF WAY ENFORCEMENT — 1619 RENTON

RECOMMENDATION:

That the sidewalk be allowed to be placed in the Right of Way along the
West side of the residence on 1619 Renton provided it has 2 saw cut along
the Right of Way Line . ;

BACKGROUND & COMMENT'S:

A builder has approched City Hall to allow a sidewalk and roof overhang to
encroach onto a 3m Right of Way along the West side of a residence on 1619
Renton as Fig. 1 shows. The sidewalk will encroach approximately 0.26m.
The roof does not encroach at all. If in the event the sanitary sewer.
requires repair, the sidewalk could be saw cut along the Right of Way line
then replaced at the owner's expense. .

* Note: T£ the builder does not feel that a saw cut is neccessary he then
could go to the Board of Variance for a decision.
