A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port MAY 2 6 1986
Coquitiam to dispose of portions of Road shown dedicated

in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New Westminstor

District In exchange for a portion of District Lot 340, Group

One, New Westminster District, to be established as Road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cancelling
portions of Road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, .New
Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitiam in the Province of British

Columbia;

AND _ WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has
agread to convey the said land to the City so that it may be established as an
addition to the Roads in District Lot 340, Group One, New Westminster District;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving,
widening, straightening, retocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

All those portions of road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a reterence plan certified by Diu.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 8th day of May, 1986, a copy
of which Is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam Is hereby authorized to purchase of and
from the Registered Owner thereot ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of
Jand and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of.Llot 12, District Lot 340, Group One, Plan 71468, New
Westminster District, shown within the heavy outline on a reference plan
certified by D.J. Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 8th day of

May, 1986, a copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described in the preceding Section hereof,

Those portions of Read shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
Westminster District, described in Section 1 hereof, are hereby closed and stopped up

to traffic of all kinds.
