B/L. 19308" Lots 114 & 115, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 59041; New Westminster ‘(Old Huntington District, and to assign the Zone Designation of M-l. : Property). : The City Planner then explained the property comprises a portion of the "Old Huntington Property" located south of Davies Avenue and north of the Canadian Pacific Railway Right-of-Way and is being rezoned in order that a greater variety of industrial uses may be permitted on the property that is the subject of the rezoning. In order to meet the minimum lot size requirements of the M-1 zone it has been proposed that Lots 109 & 110 would be consolidated to form one lot and that Lots 114 & 115 would also be consolidated to form one lot. . Mr. G. Donaldson, 2549 Davies Avenue, asked regarding the type of industrial use proposed for the property. The Developer, Mr. A. Ricard, was present and advised it was proposed that a truck body building shop would be built on one lot and a body shop for Metro Motors on the other lot. Alderman Ranger stated the Property could be used for any of the uses as listed under M-1 in the Zoning By-law. Mr. C. Schell, 2541 Davies Street, asked for clarification on how the buildings would be located on the property and the City Planner stated they would follow the approved new road pattern and face the new road. Mr. Schell then expressed concern regarding the amount «° traffic in the area and stated in his opinion a left turn lane should be installed at the intersection of Davies Avenue and at Westwood Street. Alderman Gates requested that his objection to the lack of notice given to the residents surrounding the Techram Development regarding the new method of storm water retention proposed be recorded in the minutes of May 5th, 1980 and to this the meeting agreed.
