ITEM NO. 2 Fire Ladder Wagon 7

The Leisure Activities Committee has discussed
the possibility of locating. the Old Fire Ladder
Wagon in one of our parks. The Committee
recommends the following for Council considera-

tion:

1. That the engine be removed from the Old Fire
Ladder Wagon and that the engine be auctioned
off and not the vehicle.

That the Ladder Wagon be located in Sun Valley
Park.

That the Parks Department ensure that the
vehicle be secured safely in Sun Valley Park.

The Port Coquitlam NMinor Hockey Association would like to apply
to ‘hold the 4th. Annual Bantan Hockey Tournament Narech 31 to April 5,
‘2989 inclusive. .

The tournanent will be run on the sane format as last year with
a total of 48 teans in A, B, and C divisions. The tournanent would
run in both rinks starting Tuesday, April. 1, inp the norning. The
final games will be held on April 5S. We would need all the facilities
at the rink from Tuesday April Ast to Saturday April Sth. We would
also require the rooms on the 31st of March to set. up the tournanent
headquarters. . ; ”

We request that the ice rental charges te waived for half the ice

time used as done in past tournaments. We also request that the con-
¢ession booth be handled in the same manner as last year.
. We would appreciate confirmation from you as soon as possible oa
these natters to allow en cariier start on organization for the Port
Coquitlan Minor Hockey's 4th Annunl Bantan Tournament.
