The Community Arts Council of Vancouver invites
participants to its fourth annual juried Christmas
Craft Sale, to be held at the CAC Gallery during

The Vancouver Craft Market will be held June 25,
July 16, August 13, September 3, and October 22, at

As potters who come into contact with the purchasing
public, we are sometimes struck by comments that
send shivers up the old spine.

While throwing at the wheel recently, [ had a chap
(dressed for that golf game he missed back in 1959)
look me straight in the eye, and say, with a sigh,
“Gawd. I sure wish I could get the little lady doin’ a
hobby like this”.

Scary stuff, but we all have such experiences, Anita

scholarship is for a crafisperson working im any
medium who wishes to pursue further education at an

gram in Clay and Textile Arts, incorporating credit

Gallery has announced the groundbreaking cere-
mony on September 16, fora national centre dedicated
to the world of clay, glass, and enamel arts, to be
located in Waterloo, Ontario. They have appealed for
support from artists and arts organizations across

ta donate work for the Septernber festivities, which
