Terrace Riverboat Days 2005 i is an entire week

area. There is something for all tastes and all

ages ~ music, food, sports events, heritage theme .

as the Freestyle Motocross Madness. Of course,
the perennial favourites are back - the parade, the
fireworks display and Concerts in the Park. And
this year, headline act The Nick Gilder Sweeney
Todd Group, will perform at George Little Park.

Terrace Art Gallery presents its annual members

show, the Mixed Media Exhibit. Opening reception
is August 5 at 7 p.m. Author Chris Harrison will be
on hand to sign copies of her book: Ted Johnston
—- Memoirs - Terrace Area Pioneers.

The art gallery also offers two colour theory

Miranda: In Retrospective. MariaMirandaLawrence
is a multi-media artist who specializes in portrait
and figurative illustration in a traditional classical
style. Works include. theatrical and _ historical

. scenes, musicians, dancers, flamenco, and close-

up or panoramic scenes of the outdoors. She is
a signature. member of the Canadian Institute of
Portrait Artists, the Island Illustrator Society, a
lifetime member of the Arts and Cultural Accord

children’s arts and craft’s workshops. Come and
enjoy this six-day, family workshop series where
children will learn about traditional crafts, botany
