Glimpse into the window to the past and get a feel of the way life was lived in the early 1900s. The Regional Museum Society and the Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the annual window decorating con- test. While life may have appeared to be simpler, it certainly wasn’t any easicr. Take a look at the display window of Ev’s Men’s Wear to get an idea of what it took to keep the linens looking so im- — maculately crisp and clean. The display is complete with antique clothing, an old sewing machine and water pouring into a water barrel. Most of these authentic artifacts where donated by local pioneering families. Last year about 20 businesses took part and the Glass Slipper Bridal Boutique won the prize for best display. This year Glass Slipper will ALL.
