Development Variance Permit (File No. 17/88)

RECOMMENDATION:

That City Council direct the Clerk's Oftice to notify
surrounding property owners of this application and place the
application on a subsequent Counci|! agenda.

And that City Council adopt a resolution issuing a Development
Variance Permit relaxing requirements of the Zoning Bylaw 2240
Section 801 subsection (7), rear yard setback requirements.

COMMENTS:

This application is to permit the corner of a single family
house to encroach into the rear ard setback of a property.
The property has an irregular shape that makes it difficult to
build on without encroaching into a yard. For that reason the
Owners are requesting a development variance to permit them to
build a custom design home on the lot.
