WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam Is desfrous of cancel ling a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2678 in District Lot 232, Group 1, New westminster District In the City of Port Coquitiam In the Province of British Columbia; WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the iands deseribed In Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the sald lands to the City so that they may be established as additions to the Road in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Calumbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of Improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Councl!| of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam Is heraby auther! zed to convey to the Registered Owner of the lands described In the next Section hereof ALL AND S!INGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and pramises which may be more particularly described as follows: All that portion of road dedicated on Plan 26578 [In District Lot 232, Group |, New Westminster District as shown hatched on a referenca plan certified by G.C. Sunvick, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 10th day of April, 1987, a copy of which Is attached hereto; ; at.or for the price or sum of $1.00 In exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam Is hereby authorized to purchase of and trom the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: All those portions of District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District, included within the heavy outline on an explanatory plan certified by G.C..
