Eng., Engineer Re Parking Regulations on Donald Street - Works & Services Committee Tuesday, July |/6th, 1985 Racommendation: That the first 8 parking spaces on the west side of Donald Street, north of Wilson Avenue be designated as three hour parking instead of two hour parking. Background and Comment: We have had a request from the Lighthouse Restaurant for some longer term parking. In the vicinity of the restaurant. Our parking along Donald Street and in the the city parking fot is.- two hour parking and apparently this does not give sufficient rime for some of the customers. it would be preferable to retain the two hour parking on Donald Street as this allows a better turn over for the restaurant. Howaver, it is difficult to post a part of the parking lot for three hour parking without creating contusion. Therefore the Committee feels it is better to put three hour parking on Donald Street. We have limited the change to those spaces which are nearest the Lighthouse Restaurant. it must. be understood that these three hour spaces may not necessarily be available when the Lighthouse customers wish to th KM F.E.
