MONTHLY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 1980

179 hours were worked this month.

In the month of Novenber, 1 have Spent a great deal of
dime becoming familiar with the Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam
areas. 1 have had the opportuntty to meet with several of the
agencies Located dn these comnunétces and gain knowledge af the
services they provide as well as share the ncsponsc bilities 1
have to fulscll. The response of agencées, schools, and other
ettizens, T have met with Gr thes month has been veay favourable.
They indicate a very positive feeling about our working together
dn the futiame. There has been dnvolvement with several. situations
dwotving fuvendles, partiaularty those whe have not yet been
scriousky dnvolved uth the police. As the statiatios sheet
4ndicates, 1 have already begun to make acgeanals to the vardous
apphoprcate agencies,

- Much time was spent tn administration 4o set up an
apnoprtate §2dng system and appoditnents with people and
cyenctes, A necessity of the position 4s tu establish a rckacionship
with members of the Detachment <r orden that we might work closely
tugediwnr. A good rapport has been vstabe ished wéth the Sehoot
Progam and Youth Detace members. 1 feel veay good about the
acceptance of detachnent members and theta wiliingiuess to roger
situations to me. Things are praveceding veay well and 1 Look
