Other problems include arranging with the District of
Coquitlam, who own the west side of Westwood Street,

to prepare for a similar left turn facility on the south
Side of the intersection.

I do not feel the Council's request was a condition of
approval; more, an indication that if the construction
of a left turn lane was feasible at a small extra cost,
then it would have been a requirement at that time,

I would ask that you inform your Council of our concerns
from a technical and cost point of view and request
their agreement that the present traffic signal system
remain for the time being.
