Re: Appointment of Municipal Representatives - Fraser River

Harbour Commission

The term of appointment of the two persons representing
the nine Municipalities bordering on the jurisdiction of the Fraser
Rives Harbour Commission has expired and we understand from Mayor
Laking that a meeting of the Mayors of these nine Municipalities
Was recently held and it was agreed that the current appointees
should be re-appointed. Accordingly, 1£ Council wish to give effect
to this recommendation consideration should be given to passage of
the following resolution:

“That as recommended at a recent meeting with the Mayors aad
representatives of the nine member Municipalities bordering on the
jurisdiction of the Fraser River Harbour Commission, the re-appointments
of Mr. John Watson, and Mr. Marvin Johnson for a three year term on the
Fraser River Harbour Commission from April 12th, 1980 be approved."
