trey, rane’ NEW BUSINESS: From Alderman Ranger November 21st, 1977 advising Council B.A.C.M. had survey crews working in the area east of Routley Street in Eastwood Place. The crews climbed fences, trespassed illegally and generally upset many residents. Alderman Ranger recommends a very strongly worded letter be sent to B.A.C.M. objecting to their attitude and behaviour towards residents. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That as: recommended by Alderman Ranger in his memorandum November 21st, 1977, a very strongly worded letter be sent to B.A.C.M. objecting to their attitude and behaviour towards residents during survey in the area east of Routley Street in Eastwood Place. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution discussion ensued. Alderman Ranger explained legal surveyors have the right to trespass, but these peopie were not doing a legal survey and peopie who have stakes put on their property by persons other than legal surveyors have the right to ask them to leave their property. Alderman Traboulay congratulated members of Council that were re- elected for another two year term and recommended Council endorse Mayor Campbell's candidacy for Chairman of Greater Vancouver Regional District. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution ‘discussion ensued. problem at Alderman Trabculay expressed concern about ine traffic Prairie Avenue and Flint Street and recommended Chairman of the Public Works Committee Alderman Mabbett pursue an adult school patrol to be set up as a temporary measure at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Flint Street. Moved by Alderman Trakoulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the Public Works Committee investigate the possibility of establishing an adult school patrol on a temporary basis at the Prairie Avenue and Flint Street intersection.
