TERMS OF REFERENCE: l. To advise Municipal Council, mainly du ough its various Council Comminees, on matters presently under consideration which affect people with special needs, with special attention to public education, awareness and integration, recreation, transp&.rtation, housing, education and employment. 2. To respond to any mauers concerning people with special needs which may be referred to the committee by council or council committees. 3. To monitor Municipal services and facilities and ensure that the needs of people with special needs are considered. 4. To work co-operatively with Municipal Departments whose activines affect people with special needs and to provide these Dept. with guidance. advice and information. 5. To circulate, documet.t and keep a library of information. 6. To encourage and facilitate feedback through existing channels from people who have a special need. 7.
