de Celso, Jogo da Vida ( 2007), Capivara (2005), Jongo Lé (1999) et
Varal (1997) ont tous été sélectionnés pour la finale des prix Juno dans
la catégorie du Meilleur Enregistrement /Musiques du Monde. Celso a
aussi été nommé Meilleur Artiste Solo de Musique du Monde de I’année
2008 aux Prix de Musique Folk Canadienne.

years, Celso has been performing in concert in Brazil, Western Europe,
Canada and the United States. Celso’s last four solo records, «Jogo
da Vida» (2007), «Capivara» (2005), «Jongo Lé» (1999) and «Varal»
(1997) were selected for the finals of the Canadian Juno Award for Best
World Music Recording. Celso was named Solo Artist of the Year at the
2008 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
