Pynenburg Project Technician SUBJECT: 30KM/H SPEED ZONE ON TYNER - KINGSWAY TO CENTRAL Install one 30 km/h speed limit sign on Tyner westside approx. 30m south of Kingsway Ave. and one 30 km/h speed limit sign on Tyner eastside at the south side of the driveway at 2250 Tyner St. at a cost of $200.00. Attached is a memo from Gord Voncina requesting an update on the installation of 30km/h speed limit signs on Tyner south of Kingsway Ave. The original request (see attached) was for a hospital zone sign with a 30km/h tab to be installed on Tyner between Hawthorne and Central. Existing on Tyner is a 30km/h school zone with the appropriate signs installed. To satisfy the speed limit request and to avoid the confusion of changing speed limits in a short distance, it would be best to make all of Tyner St. a 30km/h zone. This would would make the area safer for walking for the residents of Hawthome Lodge and provide a more consistent speed limit zone. Cost of 2 signs, installed: $200 0) nee Anne T. Pynenbure .
