A Bylaw to amend che "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979,

No. 1651" co provide for che issue of development permits.

WHEREAS the Council, having already adopted zoning and subdivision control
bylaws pursuant to Seccion 716 and 729 respectively of the Municipal Act
R.S.B.C. 1979, ¢. 290 (the "Act"), is empowered by Section 717(2) of the Act

to provide by amendment to the zoning bylaw for, the issue of development permits;

AND. WHEREAS in adopting this amending bylaw Council has given due regard

to all considerations and criteria set out in Sections 716(2) and 717(1) of the
act; |

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:
l. The "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" is hereby amended
by che addition in appropriate numerical sequence of the following as subsection
(5) of Section 4 thereof:

"(5). DEVELOPMENT PERMITS

The Council may by resolution issue development permits that
regulate or require howsoever many of those matcers set out in
Section 717(2) of the Municipal act, R.S.B.C. 1979, c. 290,

that the Council at the time of the. issuance of the permit deems

necessary or advisable."

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Zoning Amendment

(Development Permits) Bylaw, 1982, No. 1893".

Read a First time by the Municipal Council this Twenty~sixth day of

April, 1982.

Read a second time by the Municipal Council this Twenty-sixcth day of

April, 1982.

Public Hearing held this Tenth day of May, 1982.
